Join the Association
When you join the HMS Argonaut Association you join a very special group of people some of them can tell you stories of how the Dido Class Cruiser sailed across the Atlantic with very little bow or stern after being hit by an Italian submarine during the North African campaign of World War Two. Others will have memories of their time in the South Atlantic in 1982 or how they remember the Towed Array patrols of the Iceland Faro gap during the Cold War. One thing all our members have in common is a great love for their ship that proudly held the name Argonaut.
The Association produces three Newsletters a year telling it's members of up and coming events and any old stories that members wish to tell. Also an Annual Reunion is held this year in Plymouth where old shipmates and their families have time to enjoy a drink and catch up together.
We at the Association are determined not to let the history of HMS Argonaut fade and would love to have you join us in our efforts.
Full Membership – Become a full member of the Argonaut Association and receive three newsletters a year. The Association holds a reunion every year that you will be entitled to attend and catch up with old shipmates. Your money will be used to print and send your newsletters along with other administration.
First Year = £10.00
Subsequent Years = £5.00 automatically taken out unless cancelled with paypal
Donate to the Association
Donations – If you feel you would like to donate to the Association then please feel free the Association is a none profit organisation and no one is paid in the running of the Association.
Standard – The Association is raising money to buy a naval standard that will be displayed at Coventry Cathedral if you would like to donate please feel free.
