HMS Argonaut 2008 ReunionMarch 28, 2008
After the great success of the 2007 reunion in Plymouth I have decided to hold the 2008 reunion at the same venue – The Royal Fleet Club Devonport. Cost of tickets will be £17.00 per person. I have reserved some rooms as I did last year and will publish the costs in due course. If you have any questions or wish to purchase tickets then please contact me at the usual address.

George Rodger's War Photographs [IWM North]March 28, 2008
Born in Hale in Cheshire, Rodger captured many aspects of modern warfare, from the Blitz in 1940, to refugees escaping from Burma in 1942 and the experiences of liberation and surrender in 1945. This collection of powerful and compelling images, captures humanity in the hardship of war.
Rodger’s experiences towards the end of the Second World War led him to abandon war photography and he went on to co-found the Magnum photographic agency.
